We’re new to Vienna and moved here three months ago. Last friday we were out enjoying Stadtpark and feeding the ducks when something went wrong! My wife was feeding the ducks and decided to feed a lonely duck further into the pond. She gave the bread a good hard toss, and along with the bread went her wedding ring!
Lets just say that was an emotional moment and my wife went into the pond after the ring with no chance of luck. Days went by. We went to the police. We went to the city lost and found. We called the Stadpark. My wife was so very creative and got in touch with Thomas and Christoph through a local Vienna detector store.
Christoph came out and gave it 100% in the Stadpark pond. This caught much attention and he even made it into the paper. I’m certain the guy with the wetsuit searching the pond was posted on many social media pages that day. And why should he? He was doing something remarkable.
Christoph was relentless and very determined. He told me, “Dave, if the ring is in the pond, I will find it.â€.
He did.
